Everlasting Arms

How thankful I am to know my life is held firmly in the grip of a loving Saviour. I am held. My life may seem to spin in confusion all around me, yet my God is carefully, gently, sustaining me. This is the reality of my situation. As a daughter of God this is the one blinding certainty of my life!

But, do I truly believe it? Do I believe in a way that transforms the way I live day to day, that directs my worrying and anxious thoughts? I know the truth – am I willing to put aside my humanness, quiet my raging heart (and, so often in my case, mind) and rest in the beautiful, assuring, knowledge of sovereign hands, holding my life?

So difficult. So needed.
